The Worshipful Company of Farmers is a City of London Livery Company. The principal purpose of the Company is to provide inspiring leadership and management training for anyone engaged in agriculture or other land-based industries. 

The Company organises and runs this Rural Business Management programme, and, where necessary, offers financial support to delegates to enable them to attend. Our courses are renowned throughout the industry, with this programme, having been known previously as the ‘Agricultural Business Management’ course, now in its 75th edition, commencing in 1963. The change of name in 2026 has come from feedback, allowing the course to be more generic rather than specific to the industry.

Please keep in mind that the application process for 2026/27 will close on 30th April 2026 at 18:00; applications received after this date will be considered for the following year's programme in 2027/28

It is common for delegates to describe their experience on their course as career and life-changing, with many going on to occupy some of the most senior positions in the sector and attributing at least part of their success to their course.
